Ike, what if the stock market is the economy, or at least a big part? You keep talking about how the economy is fine and thus the stock market will be fine. The market sure was a big part of the economy on the way up (easy IPO money, new industry, etc.), why won't it be a severe drag on the way down?

I think this huge destruction of wealth will cause the economy to roll over. There will be a lag until you see the full impact. Don't be fooled!
