.....I am not really saying to buy for this bounce as much as I am saying to scale back shorts, especially in tech but everything is at risk here on the short side.

Again, I expect a pop, drop and then the rally to start. Most of the "pops" were small and some of the "drops" were very large so I would not say there isn't money still to be made short or that now is the time to go long. My point is we don't know for sure so a higher level of caution is advised especially for those short. Also if you see a pop, drop, I would cover quickly as trhe next support came into play and probably think about flipping long with a small position soon as a reversal started just to get your toe in the door. Bear rallies are extremely fast and furious and if you are like me, especially knowing we are in a bear and things could go sour fast, you won't want to be chasing.

MU says they will delay reporting a week, ( probably to cook the books a bit more) and they are up just because they said they wouldn't have a negative earnings result. They also said along with INTC that they will be scaling back re-tooling plans and so AMAT gaps up? I guess all the irrational exuberant nuts are not gone yet. Unbelievable!!!!!!!

( I am only home from work a few hours this morning so don't panic, I didn't take another week off or anything. -ggg- the market should act OK)

Good Luck,

Lee
