Beginning today, consumers can order the Presario 7000Z desktop, Compaq's fastest selling configure-to-order platform, through Compaq's ``Built For You'' kiosks at participating retailers, by calling 1-800-888-0220 and on the Compaq Web site at athome.compaq.com. The ``Built For You'' program allows consumers to customize their Compaq PCs to meet their own specifications at a competitive price.

Elwood, I'll go on record here once again as starting to buy another trading position in CPQ today. The VIX index was up around 40 today, indicates increasing fear, the DOW is down what, something like 1500 points in no time, and CPQ is up, and hanging tough through all this carnage. Maybe it's a sucker move, so I've taken an initial position with my finger on both the buy and sell trigger <ggg>. Seems to me we are due for a bounce here, and the techs are acting better. We shall see.

Regards,
John
