willco, when talking about V or U shaped we need to say WHAT we're referring to. AMAT price near the '98 floor meandered and one could have bought at a reasonably low price for weeks. stockcharts.com[w,a]waclyymy[pb30][vc60][iUb14!La12,26,9!Lc20]
We've seen the same thing since Dec '00.

SEMI equipment orders are V shaped, though.
