Linux has a 2x to 3x performance advantage and a 10x stability advantage of msft viri OSes du jour. Every day the mindshare in unix/linux increases relative to msft. This is not anti msft, this is just what is happening. msft has no power to extort the installation of msft on shipped hardware.
