As noted as Don Sew on Stock Attack 2 thread, SOXX bottomed in 200-300 range in 1998...we are still a long ways from there...

(Given most Naz stocks are trading back at '98....why not Soxx?)...either a positive divergence, or a massive headfake.

Velociraptor -- how do you determine whether a pattern is a declining parallel channel or a falling (bullish) wedge?

I notice on the SPX, the price broke down yesterday afternoon, while on the COMPX, the last drop down yesterday didn't quite reach the lower line of your purple channel. It does appear to be breaking down now, so it seems like a very good observation on your part. That failure to drop to the line yesterday had me erroneously calling the COMPX chart a wedge.
