I sent off my request for a policy clarification on this roadless wilderness issue that affects hunters. Are you aware that there are regulations AGAINST horseback deep in the forest as well? And its all due to the same "roadless" regulations, but different interps...the gov't WANTS the horses to stay ON the roads, but the road don't exist anymore.

Can you imagine teaching my horse how to interpret those yellow lines on the pavement? Maybe horses are smarter...I'm having one helluvatime teaching Ole #9...but then he's an ass in the genuine meaning of the term.
Or perhaps he's colorblind on the left side...(you know...the eye closest to the yellow line...)
