Crude isn't giving me any indication it is about to slide below 20 bucks. Bounced off the OPEC lower band again and is rallying nicely and above $27 again. I think the argument that OPEC never learns is a bit timeworn. Whole different crowd in charge now and the idea that they will act today just as they acted twenty years ago is very questionable. I see a marked contrast just between their actions in 97-98 and now. Reactive and behind the curve then...proactive and trying to stay ahead of the curve now. We shall see but attributing an OSX slide to fears of an imminent collapse of OPEC solidarity doesn't make sense when the commodity prices are showing a lot of strength.
