It may not make it high enough for the test, so I'll also be looking for a break below the low wedge line regardless. You are right though, if it busts up through then I would not want to be short for a spell.

It's an historical chart, going back to 1971, so includes the last few crashes.

We've fallen back into the historical channel, delineated by the green lines. I think I understand now why the 1655 resistance is important, as a rise through that increases the likelihood that the COMPX will approach the upper lines of the channel again. I think. <g>
