Slider,(Tesco, gold)
Looks like the MIR and the Market have the same idea here of late as in crashing to Earth, ggg.

I agree with you mid to long term on the golds, very short term here, I just think its a good place to jockey for position. Which is basically what I have been doing in the golds. Iso's call that they all go down in the Big Bear was quite prescient, but what comes out the other side is new leaders.

Very sharp assessment comparing HUI/XAU to OSX bottom, a very good point. While gold and oil might not seem related to those in techland, to the chartist the TA song sounds the same.

As a departing OSX gift, here's the latest skinny on TESCO:

TESCO announced good earnings, not blockbuster enough to help it in this market
environment though, as I suspected the last few days:

Synopsis:

Top Drive sales and rentals excellent

Rates improving

Casing Drilling going well with caveat of problems at directional bends with 7" casing, which they think they will have worked out soon.

$$ from underbalanced sale go 20M Top Drive, 10M pushpull, 10M Casing Drilling.

Drilling season over in N Canada, they have three CD projects going in US, one in Wyo, one in Tex, one location not yet determined.

In general, TESOF looks on track but I'm not really piling in till this market gets sorted out.

Best Regards and enjoy your break,
