edamo: Good point...ARBA made too many acquisitions with their currency and are paying the price. They were cash flow positive before acquiring Agile Software -- IMHO, they OVERpaid for this firm. They also OVERpaid for SupplierMarket (bought this for nearly $950M at the peak of the market). Look at the insider sales on ARBA in the last 15 months -- the Venture Capitalists and Management Team have made Billions. Yet, did they add that much value? It is true that ARBA and CMRC help companies procure MRO supplies much more efficiently but you are right that the price paid for these firms got way out of line.
