Does anybody know what is the current dividend yield of the S&P 500? Are we above 2.0% now? I would think that anything in the vicinity of 3.5% would be a good buy point...

Here's a thought that just occurred to me .... one of the reasons the DJIA held up was because there was rotation by the funds that must be 100% invested from tech into it .... now the rotation seems to be going in the other direction as the DJIA isn't working anymore... & tech seems 'relatively' cheap (compared to recent prices). Sooo if thats what keeping the NASD afloat ... it may just be a temporary support that disappears as soon as the DJIA stabalises .....(ie .. a very ST bottom)
