Have never done it before but left stop losses on half my stocks last night and they all filled. Very disappointing though the stocks are all a little lower now so I guess I should be happy with cash. Will skip today and look again tomorrow to start thinking about re-buying. It recent patterns hold true Friday will be the low of the week. But we don't have a Fed cut next week, do we? Or do we? (gg) At least I'm 60% cash now and able to make a move if I so choose. But it would be embarrassing for me as a trader if I got stopped out on the low day of the year. Almost hoping it goes down kmore just to keep better about the stop losses. Even dumped most of VZ at 45 1/4. But I saw it actually dipped to 41. Jesus. The low of the year. I'll buy it back at that price if I ever can.

Long-term (one year) many stocks will double from here assuming the economy recovers in 2-3 quarters.

Short-term - who the hell knows? Maybe Greenspan will realize how he's been taken advantage of by short interests and cream with with an early surprise next week. But that would surprise me too. Not going to bet on it.
