Not sure of the facts here, but I suspect you are correct in rebuking Patricia's claim. 20% of the World's economy sounds like a bit too much for CA. Maybe she will back up that lofty statistic.

Also, most don't state statistics as 20% to 16.6%, but the other way around. Probably a reflection of her backwards logic.

Dear Zoltan: I have read something about Calif. with a 6 in it. Maybe it was the 6th largest economy or maybe it was 1/6 of US economy. Just forgot but Pat was on the right track. However, if they dont change their energy ways that too will change. JDN

If Ca was a country on it's own it would be the sixth largest economy in the world.
