as I lurker I would comment that if the Nas goes to 500 we may as well have gotten wiped out by the y2k bug as we are going to be in big heap of doo doo. As owner of a business relying on people buying big ticket items we are reaching serious state of buyer psychology that needs desperately to see good news to start a reverse of things. If Nas goes under 1500 this is going to be a disaster-- IMHO we need a turnaround and strong leadership and sadly I think even if Bush wanted to be bold The dems would sabotage and try to blame him for this mess. I hope Washington will rally together for all our sakes.

Just as I thought - the world is coming to an end. Baloney and hype? Only from the over-excited, over-confident bears. What next? Predictions of 15% unemployment and massive deflation? Wheelbarrows of money to buy the bread you have to wait in line for? Or is it massive INflation? Better buy that gold now!

Chiken Little isn't such a rare bird these days.

1000! 500! 200!

Run awaaaaayyyy!!!

BTW, I was looking for a slightly more specific answer - what trailing and forward earnings are you using to support your argument that contracting PEs will bring the Naz down by another 83%?
