It's simple. Unlike average joe and the many Christian bullies whose victims my sister and I were as children, I am a human being with a conscience about inflicting pain and suffering.

I think bullying is disgusting and cruel and immoral, that the man-created Golden Rule is wise and conduces to good lives, and that children should raised according to its precepts.

That is very unmysterious.

Note the part about "Jesus luvs u" and her classmates
taunting her with Christian hymns.

Kindness is located in the heart, not in the Bible.

The question is, given your worldview, why do you?
The fact that you, as a Christian, cannot understand how someone who is not a Christian can have morals does not mean they don't? Can you understand this? I think that if you met E or I and observed us for a while, you would agree that in fact we exhibit as much of a sense of morality as the average Christian- -maybe more. There is more than one road.

There is no God at the center of Buddhism; do you believe that they have no morals?

Especially if it were my kid who was the strong one.
That's an interesting comment on your part. It seems to indicate that if you or your child were to lose that Christian faith, you would be as dangerous as nitroglycerin in a blender. If the fact that we do not believe in a Christian God bothers you, consider that the prospect of a Christian losing faith bothers us- -because what you claim is his only source of moral guidance is gone.
