Hi Shack. I think these are dangerous times for all small (traders) investors.

IMO, the retail crowd has been frozen in place.

I think Greenspan's largely responsible for that but the reason doesn't really matter - there aren't enough retail investors willing to buy anything.

So the large institutions are controlling most of the large stocks.

Feels like trying to play poker with a 300 pound mobster who insists on seeing your cards but won't let you see his cards, or even how many cards he's holding. And he keeps changing what's wild.

Where a million small investors were somewhat predictable because they moved like lemmings, these institutions can devastate a stock at will, it seems.
