>>Just read an article today with Feinstein whining about how unfair it is that GWB will not immediately come to our aid by forcing price controls on suppliers

And the surrounding states' politicos are complaining that Clinton - by forcing outside power to sell to CA - caused their problems and spread the huge run-up in prices. They want CA to suffer its own problems.

In general I believe that the American way is for those who are smart to provide those who are not with whatever as cheaply as possible and always have enough to sate any hunger. Regulations and ore laws sometimes assist but seldom assist smart Americans in doing what is right and good.

In California I don't have a clue as to how to fix the short term problem quickly. Over time it will be fixed and scum democrats or stupid democrats will wail and whine about whose fault is all is and do little in creative problem solving. The latest retard speak of a demodummy con-total-ass-man was how the problem of gasoline was that suv's only get 16 miles per gallon and thus to solve the shortage of gasoline all we need do is get "detroit" to increase the gas mileage 3 to 6 mpg. dduhhhhhh, don't built any more refineries, the demand can be curbed by conservation and besides the democrats are working with full focus on policies to stagnate economic growth by keeping blacks and other minorities uneducated and on the doll.

And just so you know I'm using my fair share of electric power as long as it lasts.
