Dave, I take it that you drink Greek coffee 2x the strength? It's bad enough having to read quasi-informed information from International bankers whose objectives are questionable, without also having to read expositories on so-called overpriced Nasdaq issues.

I don't see how it's 'overpriced' anything. It's more an issue of supply vs. demand, is it not? The "banks" take away the incentive for demand and supply increases. MSFT, acting as a "bank", took away their revenue advertising dollars from Yahoo and, voila, others follow suit, the stock drops...even in the face of increased worldwide internet use. So, what is it, then, user demand or monkey business?

Let's see what MSFT does with those same dollars once internet stocks get low enough, like, right about now?

A Mean number of the Dow stocks are trading at 7X earnings now.

Seems to me that Greenspan mooned the market, and the market is mooning him back. There's all kinds of esoteric, college crap that can be said about markets. But, what did Soros say...didn't he say he preferred to move a market than be moved by it? So, what does that mean? Doesn't it mean that Soros was better at understanding who was manipulating whom?

Right now Chicago seems to be moving the market; regardless. It's useless to talk, though, when they think they've got everyone by the balls and throat (but, in reality, they don't know whose got whom, they're just as lost as anyone).

Dave, maybe the real issue here is sex. Greenspan needs more of it.

That's what a 'boss' said my problem was at one time...that is, why my sales had dropped off relative to the previous year. So, there you have it, my Princeton trained 'boss' solved the problem that affects the world, including NY based WallStreet traders.

Maybe if Greenspan had had sex the night before the meeting he would have lowered rates one full point...what do you say?
