hj, i was bused to roosevelt. had friends that went to garfield, though. i did go to madrona for grade school and washingtion middle school (by garfield). the bakery next door was killer. everyone was bored stiff and had to smell the doughnuts and bread next door.

of course, we snuck out at lunch and loaded up ;-)
