NO, actually, I'm not buying TXN puts here. I did that earlier, and made money, but I'm guessing NTAP will be a better short. It would be reasonable, however, to short TXN at 35-37, but have a tight stop-loss point. At some point, the SOX is going to have another January-type rally (went from 515 to 750, a 50% upmove). I think we'll give it back, but I don't want to be short during the rebound from today's oversold levels. I'm worried about my AMAT short.

It is a mystery to me why the semis and semi-equips have held up, in the face of an avalanche of bad news over the last 3 months, which shows no sign of letting up.
