ok, you're right...nothing was a strong word.
However, I would say that it isn't the 1st priority when it comes time to make the decision.

Look at it this way: I know my company has a pipeline that assures profit growth of X% over the next 4 months...anything extra is gravy to me.
However, my portfolio is heavily weighted to my company (50-80%)...exposing me to severe disruption should anything happen to the economy or that pipeline. The ability to diversify, at that point, will have passed and I would suffer greatly. Given the strength of my stock (as opposed to whatever the future may hold, as good as it looks), I would be best served to cash out some now and make sure it is invested in something safe or counter-cyclical at any chance I get.

That isn't a "sell" notification to everyone else...it's simply good portfolio management.
