No, there was (on your part - perhaps in humor) a presumption that there was something else. The situation was merely a discussion of the kind I'd had in my family dozens of times before. Most people don't have those types of discussions where my viewpoint gets expressed. I wasn't unpopular, if that's what your "joke" suggested. My viewpoint was. Wait, didn't you get high and mighty about humor that was at someone elses expense?? You want me to find the post? I've found it (not uncommonly) that believers in particular dogmatic views don't want to have information that conflicts with their beliefs nor do they want to know that there are others who hold different opinions. Later when you can screen for people who can use their brain, it becomes less of a problem. Are you saying that if you went into any of several parochial venues (I'll supply a list) and started telling people what you believe, that it wouldn't offend them? If you weren't in THEIR church and had THEIR faith, you'd be SOL. Agnostics don't have this sense of righteousness.
