Right. Although I did expect quite a bit of choppiness the next couple of weeks because of (1) warning season, (2) quarter end window dressing, and (3) sales to pay taxes.

I'm pretty much a perennial optimist; I think the worst is nearly priced in. That doesn't mean things won't go lower, but I suspect we may start to see some better news fairly soon. With JIT becoming pervasive, working off inventories shouldn't be as severe a problem as in the past. Fuel prices seem to be dropping, which should help, too. And I think there's plenty of cash and buying capacity, with margin debt significantly lower than it was. Problems I see include meat prices if livestock problems aren't resolved quickly and the general perceptions problem.

Once some of the fear and uncertainty are allayed, we could have a pretty good rally. People still need servers.
