The psychology is ripe for the gold market. It's the easiest story in the world to sell - in a free market with objective media. Better a year early than a day late???

i agree on this assessment. the fact that the market has become some sort of sports event, and the fact that HOPE is still the most prevalent emotion, proves how much further this debacle has to go. at the bottom, there will be no hope.

For the 2(+) years up until Autumn '99, CNBC was on in the locker room of my gym every day. It started to taper off in Summer and go downright sporadic by the holidays. If the boys on this thread are correct about years of flatlining, CNBC will be toast. It's golden brown even now.
