>> I certainly hope not, I haven't even started to deploy 401K cash. <<

Same boat here. I still keeping my gold as a defensive long term hedge. Still keeping my 401K all cash for at least another week, maybe longer, but using my remaining cash to try to play st opps whether they be long or short.

I was almost tempted to put the 401K cash back to work, but I feel this is merely a snap-back reaction. We lost close to 1500 pts in the Dow in a week and half. This is by no means a lasting bottom. Very rarely do H&S patterns get broken and not eventually lead down to the next support (which is 8000 for the Dow). As I said techs may benefit from the Dow correction. Looks like they did today.

On the tech side the Nasdaq 100 (NDX) needs to break and close above 1850 before I'm a believer.

Warp, I'm like Gottfried, deliberately ambiguous. I said "a" bottom, not "the bottom." It does depend on the meaning of the word "a."

By the way, all of you who held onto your keg in the face of my plea should feel proud of yourselves. I had to go to 10.08 to pick up more. NOW honestly, doesn't that make you feel a little bad? Ed
