Immunex (IMNX) 18 15/16 +7/8: Immunex and American Home Products Corporation (AHP) announced that guidance from an independent data monitoring board indicates that ongoing studies of ENBREL (etanercept) in chronic heart failure (CHF) would not be able to meet efficacy endpoints. Based on this guidance, the companies have decided not to proceed with the large Phase 2/3 clinical studies in CHF; see press release.
