Definately some short covering but some retail buying too today. This is going to lure in a lot of folks tomorrow. The bulls are crying "HAMMER BOTTOM!" I could tell by the late swoon in the gold stocks, obviously folks who have been hiding waiting for "the bottom" needed to cash out.

By the way, don't you think its interesting that the US$ has been rallying but Gold isn't tanking? Yesterday they actually went up in tandem.
