Hey TP

You had to say that didn't you, and I was having the best laugh I've had in a long time. Aramaic was the common language perhaps, but I'm sure any educated individual Jew, such as a tax collector would have been familiar with Hebrew, as well as Greek and Latin. There is a strong tradition, that the original manuscript of the Gospel of Matthew was itself written in Hebrew. So I'm still laughing.
