Agere just got IPO priced at 6-7$, less than half the original price.

It's still expensive given the amount of debt Lucent is off-loading. I'm not a believer in this rally, though tomorrow is probably an up day.

Those plots you posted can probably be slightly modified given the strong economic performance of the past few years. I think Dow 7000 is a realistic bottom, but don't think we'll get there.

the legendary, much respected Dow Theorist Richard Russell was calling the DOW to 4500 on CNBC today--they humored him,and implied he is getting to be an old man--max
