Well, tomorrow is another important day in the Infereon/Rambus story. The defendent is to report back to the court on whatever new documents or information, if any, has been turned up by this new search. Unless there is an untimely leak of events (but that never happens in U.S. Federal Court), there may be some developments worth reading about early next week. If any new documents at all are disclosed, even if they are not "smoking guns", the reaction of the judge will be interesting. I would expect an immediate motion by Rambus to amend its pleadings to include whatever charges it feels are warrented by the last week's misadventure. Settlement pressure mounts.
