John, do you think the established base of retailers...

...adds to the enterprise value of SanDisk?

I mean, as a retailer would one risk relying more heavily on one
leading supplier or play the field ready to switch to the low
cost producer at the drop of a hat?

I think if the '987 licensing had worked out as SanDisk planned they
would be less concerned about who is selling cards, but with this
situation still cloudy it would appear that SanDisk is firmly clutching
the retail channels they have developed over time. Thus, the retail
partners have an unquantifiable value to SanDisk. If SanDisk
remains a reliable, low cost provider of quality items they should stay
in the favor of these retailers.

Maybe SanDisk needs to think about making Memory Stick to round out their
complement of cards offered? Wonder if that has crossed their minds.

John, "The Bottom", no, "A Bottom" and getting into a sizeable bear market rally, I think so.
