I see a ruff SPX weekly expanding triangle starting in April-May 99 and a large one starting in 1994, both have lower trend lines around 1080±.

DJIA weekly started as a large expanding symmetrical triangle, that turned into drawn out rectangular coil which all the wizards discovered was a diamond.., the rarest and deadliest of all broadening tops. A simple projection for that diamond is about 7600.

It appears to be a self-full-filling-END to the life's journey of the "Bubble Brained Traders, Commentators and General Market Wonks".....

There aren't many diamonds to squint at..., so I guess they can have this one to tell their grandchildren. However, in the process of squinting, they're jobs are being distributed to the public burger houses.

I hope your right about the 3rd wave....! And not extended for a few years.

Hey Boss,

I've seen you reference a 75% retracement before. So -- I took a peek at the lowest week of 10/13/98 and its 923.32 and then the highest high is the week of 3/24/00 at 1552.87 for a difference of 629.55. Subtracted 75% of 629.55 from the high and it's 1080.71 Today's weekly close is 1081.19

Big ass wow if that holds.

Cheif,
You said, "when the upper trendline is taken out the meltup will commence...." Where is the upper trend line and can you give us a link to a chart to illustrate your thoughts? TIA
