That's the real problem. Browsers have the capability of checking revocation lists for bad certs, but Verisign doesn't provide the location of the CRL in the cert so it can be checked. That's a gaping security hole.

Have you checked out Microsoft Promo videos lately? Hailstorm (sounds like a bombing run), shades of Leni Riefenstahl. A helicoptor flying over Redmond, then a view of the flag on top of MS which is...not an American Flag, but the MS flag.
