But the 2GHZ P4 due "just after Christmas" according to the hints and rumors never appeared. Okay, you're reaching yet again here... Intel never said they were going to deliver a 2GHz part "just after Christmas." Those were rumors repeated on the Register, and that's it... just rumors... never substantiated... clearly they were WRONG as Intel never said it... AMD, on the other hand, promised a 1.5GHz K7 part in January. It will now not appear until Q3... SIX MONTHS LATE. Clearly the K7 design doesn't scale as easily as clamed as AMD has missed their announced schedule (rather than vague rumors) by half a year.
