KS Li [14]: HWL & PCCW (0008) can co-op overseas 2001-03-22 17:54 (Infocast News) Li Ka-shing, Chairman of Cheung Kong (0001), said that Hutchison Whampoa's (0013) investment in Pacific Century CyberWorks (0008) is only $700 million, which is a neglectable amount for HWL. He said that under the existing regulations for telecoimmunications business, the company does not intend to cooperate with PCCW, as it has to avoid conflict of interest.
