LOL. As soon as there is a mass slaying of student by a lure-wielding depressed adolescent, I will also advocate the controlling of plastic fish lures. Why can't I build a nuclear weapon? In today's world, a well armed militia will do squat against a Russky invasion; you need tactical nukes to stop them. So, being an advocate of the Constitution, why are you limiting my ability to maintain a "well regulated Militia"? BECAUSE THAT WOULD BE INSANE! Since it's obvious that the purpose of a militia was to ensure "the security of a Free state", what possible purpose could cheap handguns be in a militia? The militia (National Guard) needs to be well armed, and "well regulated", to fend off a foreign foe. How do you draw a line between that guarantee and the flood of handguns and automatic weapons in the hands of children and criminals? To borrow from Bridge on the River Kwai: Madness! Madness!
