Maybe better laws, that actually work?

Please define the difference between current laws and better laws. Saying "Better laws would stop more shootings" or something like that is not a definition.

If you're worried about children dying, being shot is probably less likely than things like bicycle accidents and drowning. People don't worry about things like this though, unless it happens to their children and then it's too late. It's easy to get emotional about guns. It's too bad people are as emotional about all causes of untimely deaths.
