MLA and Dan: He has solid endorsements from people whose work I respect, like Dennis Rainey, and Dr. Howard Hendricks. I have sampled a diverse group of people and they all recommended the book. I have found women and men, in various demographics, denominations, locations and ages, all agreeing that this is a fantastic, live-changing book. I have asked people, from various places, if they have read it, and the answer has been consistent, yes. As a matter of fact, several of them have bought many copies to give to friends and family. The other answer I have gotten is "someone just gave it to me, and I have not read it yet, but I hear it's great." For me, this started with a client in Southern Calfornia who called me and said, "you have to read this book. They can't keep it on the shelves." Let me know what you both think after you read it. I enjoyed the book. Now, I am in the re-reading process. I want to see how I learn from it, with life applications.
