The answer is simple... buyers bought the sellers stock

Oh, is that how it works? You mean every single share that is sold is bought by another investor? Does that mean that everyone that makes a market in the stock has the same number of shares at the end of the day that they had at the beginning of the day? What makes the price go higher or lower then?
