Hi MeDroogies,

'Their story, however, bears no resemblance to Larry Ellison who is building and maintaining a viable corporation'

You know, I may well have sold in his position, I may have sold more... for me the real issue is how Ellison and his contemporaries all became part of the big promo machine. There is something less than honourable in that. There are coarser words I could choose but the meaning is there nonetheless.

Granted one can argue what choices did he have... but what choices do any of us have. He will have less trouble living with his than many of his shareholders shall.

regards
Kastel

Disclosure: I've come through this just fine (ahead a bit actually) and have never owned ORCL so my position is not born of rancor just observation.
