This is follow-thru? This is- SO FAR- the same stuff we saw 3 weeks ago....everyday, a gap up.....and then no real net buying during day....while QQQs and leaders slowly ebbed during day....

Still plenty of time for a real rally to begin..but makes me think all the more that yesterday wasn't for real...was "helped"...and that there is no 2nd stage buying (buying as stocks go up)...just short covering and buy orders getting filled (and opportunists/traders jumping on a clear uptrend, ready to get off at 1st stop)..

Shouldn't we have taken out that morning high by now?...we can't even get thru 1940s right now......

I doubt they have much buying power at their disposal

Patron, I went to a Metastock presentation last week-end and there were about 130 people. I would consider these folks to be a tad more sophisticated than the the average J6P trader. Many even already owned Metastock. But when the question went out from the presenter "How many here short stocks?" Exactly 14 hands went up (including mine). I agree with you 100% . The inexperienced shorts are likely irrelevant.
