My two cents worth of sense. Adding to the Bible would not be valid, so I would throw it out. The Bible stands on its' own.

I see this as the story of a little known Bible character in the Book of 1st Chronicles, who had favor with God. It clearly states what he prayed for and that God answered him with a yes. The book is about how to pray, receive and see His blessings in our lives, which are really blessings that will benefit the Kingdom. It's an illustration. I see it as reinforcement, but not a replacement for God's Word, which can't be replaced. It's an example of living our Faith and trusting a God who can be trusted. It's more of an example of how we can live, maxamizing the abundant life, for God, and an illustration of His Sovereignty. I hope that make sense. I am still examining it and will keep re-reading it.
