Ya, I guess when Cush posted his caption from Greensplat's testimony that he "listened and watched what the analysts" were saying about the economy and specific companies, it should have been a red flag. Analysts of the 70's (Deere's fundamentals and P/E look sound and altho economic growth is shaky, it's a good buy for the next 10 years) versus todays analysts (Pssst..... wanna buy my new RIM offering @ $150, the Blackberry is gonna be HUGE. Fill yer boots) are two entirely different breeds, imo.

I think McNeely was on CNBC was trumpeting the same sorta stuff. Might be self serving but he complained the Fed wasn't listening to CEO's to see exactly what they were doing and what they thought. I'll go with a CEO's thoughts who hold millions of dollars of cap ex and corp finance avenues at their fingertips, than some guy with a CFA who is trying to sell a secondary offering.

Man, there I go off on the analysts again. My apologies :).
