Dataram Achieves Advanced Memory Qualification for Intel's First Dual-Processor 1U Server System
PRINCETON, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 30, 2001--Dataram Corporation (NASDAQ: DRAM - news), a leading provider of gigabyte-class memory for high-performance network servers, today announced that it achieved Intel® Advanced Certification for it's 256MB, 512MB and 1GB PC133 memory modules for use in the SRMK2 1U server platform.

Dataram is offering three capacities, which are all registered, ECC, 133MHz SDRAM DIMMs: DTM60125 (256MB), DTM60176 (512MB), and DTM60126 (1GB) module assemblies. The SRMK2, Intel's first 1U server platform utilizing PC133 memory technology, supports up to 4GB of Dataram memory with 4 DIMM sockets.

PC133 is the newest memory technology currently available for Intel server platforms. ``PC133 offers a 33 percent performance increase over PC100. It is also a viable option before the new Double Data Rate (DDR) technology fully emerges,'' states Robert Kanoff, Dataram's marketing director.

The SRMK2 delivers high-density performance and flexibility for E-Business applications. This scalable and highly available platform supports dual Pentium® III processors and up to 4GB of PC133 ECC registered SDRAM memory. The advanced memory capacity supports a wide cross-section of server applications including, database, web and messaging servers. Additionally, the SRMK2 includes two integrated Intel Pro/100+ server adaptors, integrated video controller, integrated Ultra160 SCSI controller and two PCI slots (64-bit/66MHz, one full-height, one low profile).

The higher bandwidth of PC133 memory fulfills the increasingly larger memory demands for workstations and servers, and it is currently the most cost-effective memory technology.
