Please read my other message on the 2nd amendment. IT IS NOT A GUN LAW. The Stockton school shooting in CA years ago was done with an AK47 obtained through the mail. I am for a multi-pronged approach to solving this problem: education, drug enforcement, restoration of ethics, better support for working families, tougher laws. But to wait for that to work and see our children die everyday is TOO LUDICROUS TO TAKE. It will DRIVE US ALL MAD. Your argument is akin to closing all fire stations in the country and promoting fire sprinklers and combustion-proof materials in all buildings. Eventually, it may work, but a lot of houses will burn down in the meantime.
