I think a lot will depend on how deep and long the overall economic downturn is. My crystal ball is on the fritz. (Some of its vacuum tubes have burned out, so I have to send off to Russia for replacements.)

But in 1985 Japan was booming. They consume alot of shiny new silicon toys over there. They don't export all of them.

This could be more like '73-'74. Or it could be a brand new animal.
