So, then it means that if we have, say, four simultaneous downloads in a 1X sector, then each individual throughput should still be 144Kbit/s. Correct? If this is correct, then 1x is just awesome. GPRS will die very painfully. Leave alone that it is late and nowhere to be seen other than in press releases. Nobody in their right mind will want a GPRS phone if he can get 1X, even if it is at a slightly higher price (you know, all that crap about economies of scale).

By the end of this year, when 1x hits the market I am going to short AWE. They are doomed, unless they come to their senses, which is unlikely.
