Wait until your son, or daughter, or niece, or other loved one lies dead in a pool of blood, shot at school. I think you'd change your tune (although I pray it will not happen, I fear it will). If your son, or daughter, or niece, or other loved one had their life saved by the owner of a legal gun would you change your tune? Tim

Your fears are not unfounded, but they are GREATLY exagerated. I do not believe that I will ever find myself in that position. If a gunman does go hunting at my kids school I will hope there is someone in a responsible position that does have a gun, like the situation in San Diego yesterday. Life is scary, but don't let your fears run your life. Knowing there are nuts out there that do this kind of thing is why I feel better being able to fight back. You want to take my right to do that away, and that offends me greatly. Be brave my friend and goodness just may prevail.
