In my eyes, he is an *expert* and his opinions hold a lot of credibility with me.

Good article.

PS
His ten rules for investing are very good advice.

fwiw...

if you read Templeton's book - THE TEMPLETON PLAN -

you would find that he made a lot of money in the crash of 29 -- [depression days] in fact, he borrowed $10,000.00 --- which was a LOT of money back then [can anybody tell me today's equiv???] and invested in stocks that were depressed in price [under a buck].

of course he doesnt believe in buying stocks on margin -- but insist that when he borrowed the money he had the ability to pay it back if nec.

when your 80 years old and have 800 million you are NOT looking at Risk vs Reward --- all you care about is the REWARD.

now --- talk to the young people in their 20's -- like my son who is a computer science major at UCLA and ask them what they think about the market. My son is screaming bull when it comes to some stocks -- like AMD. [also thinks i should buy more AHP]

OPPORTUNITIES ABOUND!!!!!!!
